Tiara Jordan-Sutton
Tiara Jordan is an Educational Advocate and Visionary with over 15 years of experience in Education as a Teacher, Administrator and Principal. Tiara has dedicated her career to relentlessly fighting for black and brown scholars and their families to receive the quality educational experiences and opportunities they rightfully deserve. Her proudest role is being a mother to her amazing daughter. In her free time, she can be found reading a book or (during the fall )cheering on her favorite football team, The University of Michigan Wolverines- Go BLUE!!
LaShonda Hill
LaShonda Hill, a St. Louis native, brings over ten years of experience in Early Childhood and Middle School education (in district and charter schools) to ActivateSTL. She received her post-secondary education at St. Louis Community College and University of Missouri-St. Louis. In her current role, she coordinates various ActivateSTL operations functions, in addition to supporting our educational organizing efforts. A proud mother of six children, she understands the difficulties of navigating our local educational systems, and is grateful that she had/has the option to choose schools that are the best fit for her children's specific needs. When she's not working, or performing her "super mom" duties, LaShonda can be found testing out the trendy crochet patterns or whipping up new cookie recipes.
